The Blue Sun
The Blue sun burns with a soft, watery glow and gives the entire plane a slight blue tint. It saturates the ground with the primal forces of Water and Law for the day, and many societies across Rakbasha refer to the Blue Sun Day as the Day of Balance. The Blue Sun bestows the following magical changes to Rakbasha when it saturates the Great Cylinder with its blueish glow:
- Elementals summoned from the Elemental Plane of Water come out one size increment larger than what would normally be allowed for the spell cast.
- Water is twice as effective at putting out nonmagical fires and is also now capable of putting out magical ones. Because of this, any weapon dealing frost damage in addition to normal damage deals an additional 1d6 more than usual, unless the skin of the target is already naturally aflame. This applies to enchanted weapons only, and not magically conjured frost.
- Weapons magically aligned to the power of Law do an additional +1d6 damage to any chaotically aligned creature. This does not stack with a frost enchanted weapon bonus for the day. The wielder chooses which bonus to use.
- Creatures that can swim or naturally live in the water gain Water Mastery (it gains a +1 to attack and damage rolls as long as it and its enemy are touching the water.
