The Red Sun
The Red Sun burns with a fiery red glow and gives the entire plane a slight reddish tint. It saturates the ground with the primal forces of Fire and Chaos for the day, and many societies across Rakbasha refer to the Red Sun Day as the Day of Uncertainty. The Red Sun also has the following nicknames: the Destroyer, and the Essence of Pain. The Red Sun bestows the following magical changes to Rakbasha when it saturates the Great Cylinder with its reddish glow:
- Elementals summoned from the Elemental Plane of Fire come out one size increment larger than what would normally be allowed for the spell cast.
- Fires burn twice as fast, are twice as hot, and twice as easily than on any other day except for a Blue Sun Day. Because of this, any weapon dealing fire damage in addition to normal damage deals an additional 1d6 more than usual, unless the skin of the target is already naturally aflame. This applies to enchanted weapons only, and not magically conjured flame.
- Weapons magically aligned to the power of Chaos do an additional +1d6 damage to any lawfully aligned creature. This does not stack with a frost enchanted weapon bonus for the day. The wielder chooses which bonus to use.
